Program Description:
The University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS) is the world's northernmost institution for higher education and research, located in Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen at 78°N. UNIS offers high quality courses at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level in Arctic Biology, Arctic Geology, Arctic Geophysics and Arctic Technology.

This program is very competitive for undergraduate students. Students must be Junior or Senior level to meet most prerequisites (at least 30 credits in the Natural Sciences, with 15 credits relating to the class topic - i.e. Biology).

Several graduate-level opportunities at the Master's and PhD level!
