As international internships fall under the broad category of study abroad, all students applying for one must first submit an IPI Application for Exchange or Study Abroad. International internships may have some additional requirements such as minimum GPA, class standing, foreign language ability, or course prerequisites. Additionally, some internships are only provided in conjunction with an academic study abroad program (if that is the case, apply to the
corresponding program, not with this application). Internships may take some time to set up, so start planning early.
