Program Description:
How IE3 Works

Through IE3 Global Internships you earn academic credit on your home campus while gaining professional experience abroad. Internships are available in a variety of private-sector companies, nonprofit organizations and educational institutions around the world.

IE3 Global Internships provides the following:
  •     internship placement
  •     pre-departure orientation
  •     international health insurance
  •     learning tools
  •     monitoring and support by a regional director in the U.S.
Professors on your home campus award credit based on agreed upon reporting requirements.

Erica Keiko Iseri is the designated IE3 Advisor for UAF. She is your main contact person for advice about applying to the IE3 program and campus specific issues such as credit, registration, financial aid, graduation, and local scholarship opportunities. You are required to set up an advising an appointment with Erica if you plan on applying so that she can go over with you all of the steps involved in the process.
